‘At Bethel we will seek to encourage and equip all members of the fellowship to engage in regular and meaningful prayer’
What is prayer?
Prayer is communicating with God, talking, speaking and listening to Him. It is not a set of techniques but a two-way conversation with God. It helps us to build a living relationship with Him so that we can talk to Him at any time, in any way, for anything.
Why do we pray?
Prayer occupies a central place in the life of our church family. It is a way of supporting each other when in need or when celebrating. It helps to build the church family and become an active way of life for us.
How do we pray?
We pray in our services, home groups, triplets and in the monthly prayer gatherings. Sunday Sanctuary meetings give us the opportunity to pray with other local Christians and our Pastoral Care team pray with those they visit.
Our Prayermail network allows us to distribute prayer requests and responses across the fellowship, from the church family and from those outside who have specific needs.
We also encourage the use of personal aids such as books, applications on technology and study notes with prayer guides.
If you would like to know more or you have a specific prayer request please contact us.
